BASE X BIRD COLLEGE
BASE Dance Studios and Bird College launch an innovative association.
BASE have recently solidified their partnership with Bird College, and now have a regular weekly class upon the college timetable. The relationship between the two aims to feed in regular teachers from the professional studio, and introduce the students to additional foundations and styles not routinely taught at college level.
With Bird College already being one of the most established training facilities within the UK for dance and musical theatre, these additional styles shall be further attributes for the young performers in training.
With BASE's customer demographic being largely college students and recent graduates, this will also introduce our teachers to their potential future class participants and lay the foundations of their styles early on, raising the level of open classes in the years to come.
Always pushing, this is the first association between an open studios and a professional college of this manner. Brands and businesses coming together within the dance community helps create a more consistent structure for performers, supporting the overall quality of training. We are honoured to be working with Bird and look forward to many exciting projects in the near future!
LONDON PRESTIGE DOUBLE AWARD WINNERS
BASE Dance Studios are extremely proud to announce that we have recently been awarded a London Prestige Award for ‘Dance Class of the Year – London’, for the second year in a row.
The judges notes mentioned our team's personal touch, consistency of reviews and community feel. The London Prestige Awards work in conjunction with Corporate LiveWire – a company providing London based readers with an annual guide to all the top services in London. After being shortlisted, the winners are chosen by an independent panel made up of local industry experts in all areas.
BASE are again honoured to be recognised amongst this high calibre of business, especially given the past year and the work the team have put in despite all the extenuating circumstances. We look forward to continuing the hard work into 2021.
BASE & PHYSIO ED
BASE have teamed up with the outstanding Physio Ed, to offer anyone that teaches or attends the studios discounted treatment!
Physio Ed offer thorough assessments and treatment inclusive of massage; acupuncture; cupping; supportive taping; tailored exercise advice and 1 to 1 exercise sessions in clinic. Our Physiotherapist Genevieve, is based at Physio Ed Medical - Wimpole Street. She regularly trains at BASE and holds a keen interest in dance and injury prevention in the performance field.
Price: 30 minute session at a reduced rate of £50.00 (from £65.00) upon presentation of a BASE class confirmation email.

JLS - BEAT AGAIN TOUR 2020 X BASE

BASE proudly launch BASE Productions Limited
Through the success of BASE Dance Studios and the positive impact it has had amongst the dance community within London, the company directors look to support the arts further and extend the family. The new company shall endeavour to support, sponsor and create projects within the arts. These projects will generate work opportunities, jobs and a stronger economy within the dance community.
BASE Productions has been in planning for several years and is now in a position to launch its' own projects over the coming months. BASE Productions look to be at the forefront of the changing dance industry, producing works that will have a strong positive impact.

LOVE K-POP DANCE LONDON X BASE
One of our most popular classes here at BASE is K-Pop - exclusively run by Louise Quan and the Love K-Pop Dance London team, you can find their classes weekly on a Thursday and Friday.
The classes are based around routines to current K-Pop hits, and you can be sure of a welcoming, fun environment for all levels.

BASE at Move It 2019
BASE Studios had a fantastic time at Move It in March. With our directors being involved as Creative Ambassadors and prominent seminar speakers, as well as 3 sold out classes over the weekend with our fantastic teachers, it was a weekend full of BASE fun. We even had the privilege of closing the show with an outstanding finale piece in collaboration with BASE Academy.
